Hindi nakaligtas sa Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law maging ang mga dokumento na kinukuha sa Philippine Statistics Authority kagaya ng Birth Certificate, Cenomar, Death Certificate, Marriage Certificate at iba pa.

Ayon sa Philippine Statistics Authority - Romblon, simula February 02 ay tataas na ang kanilang singil ng P15 dahil sa dagdag buwis sa documentary stamp.

Kung ang birth certificate, death certificate at marriage certificate noon ay makukuha mo sa halagang P140 lamang, ngayon ay magiging P155 habang ang cenomar naman ay makukuha mo ng P210 mula sa dating P195.

DOST-Pagasa at NDRRMC, hinikayat ang publiko na abangan ang mga flood advisory o babala sa baha

Paalala ng DOST-Pagasa sa mga kababayan, laging magmatyag at makipag-ugnayan sa barangay at sa disaster risk reduction and management office (DRRMO) sa tuwing umuulan.

Mula pa nitong Sabado ng gabi, nagpapalabas ng “General Flood Advisories” o abiso ukol sa pagbabaha ang Pagasa na siyang ipinakakalat naman ng National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) sa iba't ibang ahensiya at kinauukulang sangay ng Office of Civil Defense (OCD).

Ayon sa DOST-Pagasa, nakakaapekto pa rin sa dulong hilangang Luzon ang hangin amihan bagamat inaasahan nilang hihina ito sa pagtatapos ng linggo.

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte on Tuesday, January 16, announced that he would initiate a review of public works projects that remained unfinished for years.

“So I will review with the Cabinet this one. All public works projects, which have been delayed for years, you get out immediately and I can maybe look for the money,” President Duterte said in a speech in Pasay City during the inauguration of the new Communications, Navigation, Surveillance and Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM) Systems.

PhilHealth to implement new premium rates this month

Health Secretary Francisco Duque III announced Friday, January 05, that the Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) will raise the premium contributions of its members starting January.

"Magtataas tayo ng (We will raise PhilHealth’s) premium contribution, 0.25 percent, effective January 2018," Duque said during the Clean Forum held at the Manila Hotel.

The health chief described the adjustment as timely, saying PhilHealth has already expanded its benefit packages but has not increased its premium contribution in a while.
